Estate Agents and mortgage lenders across Europe are in turmoil. As from September 10th 2007, selling a property has just got more expensive. New continent wide EU directive 2002/91/EC states that ANYBODY selling a residential property HAS TO HAVE a HOME INFORMATION PACK or HIPS as it is generally called across the industry.

This report is estimated to cost anywhere between £400.00 and £1000.00 and you, as the seller, has to pay for it, in advance!
